Inside Scoop Events
Inside Scoop events bring University of Illinois undergraduates from any major into close conversation about humanities and arts-related topics with distinguished Illinois faculty and visiting speakers. Enjoy lunch on us in an informal setting where scholars and artists share the great moments of discovery, creativity, and excitement that fuel their research and creative work, helping us to understand what it means to be human in a rapidly changing world.
Humanities in Action
The Humanities in Action program is a semester-long community service engagement program, facilitated by We CU and HRI. The HIA program supports up to five undergraduate humanities students (regardless of citizenship status) who are interested in pursuing service opportunities within the Champaign-Urbana community.
Humanities Research Lab Courses
HRL is a semester-long humanities class with a significant community based research component. This program is facilitated in partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Research.
Undergraduate Research Prizes
The HRI Prizes for Research in the Humanities allow us to celebrate excellence in humanities scholarship. These prizes recognize outstanding humanities research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with awards given at the undergraduate, graduate, and faculty levels.
